In August of 2005, Ron finally decided to move beyond his 25+ year dedication, leaving Leo as the remaining brother at Canad Inns. Ron was ready for new opportunities and travel. A marriage proposal was also in the works to Vanessa. Working as a part-time consultant, Ron wound down his final term contract in the Fall of 2010 to focus (with his wife) solely on real estate in Winnipeg and later, adding the Okanagan Valley, BC.
